Interview
The latest trend is to conserve your own personality, dare to be different and choose your own shade. My inspiration for this collection comes from my travels all over the world. I just came back from India where we have concluded successful seminars for the stylists from different cities. Here I have found a really nice turquoise color in the traditional fabrics from the Indian saris and cashmeres. This turquoise color we have implemented into the SHADES autumn/winter collection. During one of my travels trough the amazon we encountered a special fish (hoplosternum littorale) with fins just like braids. The French discovered it during their expeditions in South America. The structures of the fins of this fish are the base of my braiding and knotting techniques in SHADES. With SHADES one can find their own inspiration without being gender specific. Choose your own shade embodied into male and female spirit. Color battle combined with 70’s inspiration. Francoise Hardy vs. Jane Birkin , short vs. long. Combinations between knots and braids, ultra slick and simple buns. There are no rules.
